Éric Daoust

Born in Témiscamingue, Mtre. Daoust was admitted to the Quebec Bar Association in 1999 after finishing his studies at the Université de Sherbrooke. He is a partner and one of the founders of the firm, which was created in March 2008.

He began his practice in banking and corporate law in Sherbrooke.  Since returning to Abitibi-Témiscamingue in September 2001, Mtre. Daoust has been practicing various types of law, including construction law, banking law, recovery and judgement execution, mining and securities law, business and commercial law, as well as litigation.

Mtre. Daoust has more than 15 years of experience in working with private individuals, businesses and financial institutions.

Since 2001, Mtre. Daoust has been involved in the community as a member of Club Richelieu, serving both as its president and as a member of its board of directors for several terms. He also assists the Hospital Foundation of Rouyn-Noranda in achieving its mission being member of its board of directors between 2002 to 2012 and as its chairman for three years. He is vice-president of the Foundation since 2016.

Mtre. Daoust was a director of the Théâtre du Tandem from 2012 to 2015.
